COME FLY THE BEACH WITH US !

Welcome to Oak Island, North Carolina, one of the most beautiful areas in the country. Miles of unspoiled beaches, sea gulls and marine life everywhere you look. A normal flight would take us down the beach in an open air cockpit, waving at beachgoers and sighting the occasional porpoise, sea turtle, or manta ray. Our two seat Challenger has been slightly modified to enhance the view from the wide open cockpit. Departing from our low flying along the beach, we’ll climb to 1,200 ft. to cross some open water, then back down to 500 ft. as we fly along Baldhead Island. We’ll then make a descending turn as we fly very low along the “East Beach”, which is miles of unspoiled and undeveloped pristine beach. We won’t land, but we’ll get real low and experience a type of flying others only dream of. The “East Beach” can be the most peaceful, serene, flight you’ll ever take, or it can be a thrill a minute full of adrenaline.

DISCOVERY FLIGHTS: A 30 minute introductory flight down the beach.

FLIGHT LESSONS: including Ultralight Training, Sport Pilot Training, and Transition Training for experienced pilots switching to the new Light Sport Aircraft.

CHALLENGER KIT PLANE SALES: A brand new two seat Challenger is currently in the $23,500.00 range. They are very easy to build and we will give you advice every step of the way. If you want to build it here, we can assist you, or we can build it for you, paint it, register it with the FAA, and test fly it.

WE HAVE TWO OTHER EXCITING DEVELOPMENTS COMING SOON:

The, “ROWDY BIRD” is a new ultralight we have designed and are currently building. It will be a legal UL that the owner can later convert to a two seat Sport Plane. It has a “pusher prop” and the two seats are side by side, each with a stick. Projected kit price for the UL is $9,000.00 without motor. It will stall in the twenties and has very short take off and landing capabilities.

FLOATS : This summer we hope to have our Challenger on floats and will give float training for Sport Pilots.
